A press release from The Machine's director:

"We're glad to see the corps off to such a strong start, in heavy contrast with last year's foray into the FDC. The kids are excited, and the all new staff is doing an exemplary job. Our sponsorship with Pearl/Adams and the new line of King Brass is excellent as well. Good luck to the other corps; you just might need it this season."

This year's show is entitled "The Natural Machine", and while it borrows heavily from many themes, the main focus is Frank Ticheli's "Vesuvius" and Earl Klugh's "The Rainmaker".
