************Press Release************
The ink is on the paper, and the Musketeers Fantasy Drum and Bugle Corps has come out ahead in two revolutionary deals. Currently in their first year of
DLOFDC competition, the Musketeers have inked deals with clothing giant Adidas, and Seattle-based airplane manufacturer Boeing.
"This is a great day for me personally, as I absolutely rocked two big companies back on their heels and demanded they give me what I want," said highly concieted Executive Director Jon Lawson.
"We believe this partnership will be benificial, as being involved in fantasy drum corps exposes us to an entirely new marketing audience." Boeing and Adidas said in a joint comment.
The deal includes Boeing providing a plane to the Corps for transportation. The plane will be a custom-designed 737, although interior designs are not yet known at this time. The plane will be able to carry up to 200 people, which leaves room for Corps Members, Staff, Volunteers, and a few groupies. What qualifies a corps groupie for a flight on the plane was not disclosed.
Adidas will design and manufacture the Corps' uniforms for the following few years. Adidas is also interested in plans for a new shoe designed for marching practices.
