That would be the strap. Note the no face, hands, etc. Though there is a person who is our euphonium section leader for Carolina Reg., who's got an abnormally small head.

That still doesn't explain the small size of the hat, unless it's like a fez.

We're gonna kick butt and take names all season. You have 'till the 21st to prepare for your whoopin'. Kevin, our "CR" was meant to stand for Carolina Regiment, but Christopher Reeves was a good guy, so I guess we can say it's there for him too.

Uh oh, it's the talketh of the smacketh downeth. Do I smell a rivalry in the making?

*Grabs some popcorn from the Orville Redenbacher line, sits back, and prepares to watch the duel.*

We just had rehearsal today, and we're soundin' as smooth as silk while playing sevenlets and 64th notes. I'm not TRYING to start a rivalry (that's Cary's position), I just like the concept of 7 clean snares.

The fact that you are clean is great- I just hate seeing huge lines that are really dirty.

Sanderson doesn't really have that option though; with 3 snares, we better be clean!

Oh by the way, the 28th Pole Vaulters had a full corps rehearsal today; their basses are doing 128th note splits and 67-lets and the snares and tenors decided to march the entire show blindfolded and in ski boots. The colorguard and drumline will be utilizing the force in their visuals too. The whole brass section (including contras) is able to play notes so high, humans can't hear them, setting up the possibility of a "silent" park and blow.

The show is already perfect.

Yeah, I saw the 28th Pole Vaulters practice. The best part of the show is where the tenors do backflips.

Oh yeah, well I saw the CR's rehearsal a little while ago; the part where that fat guard chick wipes her nose with her flag is AWESOME!!!

Oh, and who can forget that awesome "wedgie-pick" visual the entire battery did during the ballad?

That flag was stolen from the Jackson Flares camp. You definitely can have it back, she said she doesn't like it anymore.
