PRESS RELEASE:MIGHTY CRIMSON KNIGHTS PREVIEW SHOW DISASTERThe Mighty Crimson Knights Drum and Bugle Corps of Sylvania/Toledo, Ohio were to have thier home preview show last night, June 12th, at the small Northview High School Football Stadium. But due to thier late start time on the show, rain began to fall, as the Knights took the field. Everything ran smoothly through the opener until, as Director Matt Timman was quoted as saying "Everything got ****ed up, and then went to ****ing hell in a handbasket." Once the corps had gotten past the opener the rain was now heavy, and the field became muddy and slippery. "It was an accident waiting to happen, said one fan, and eventually it did" It started with one Tuba falling backwards while holding his Tuba upright, and had it fall upon him. All other corps members, oblivious to this fact continued with the drill. Soon the muddy field had claimed 4 more members, most notably a Tenors player who fell and shattered the shells of 2 of his drums. In all 15 corps members were injured in the disaster, 3 tubas, 2 tenors, all 5 basses, 3 cymbals, and 2 snares. "It happened so quickly, that we couldn't stop the drill in time, said Director Matt Timman, it was just all a blur and then we had 10 Knights laying on the field." Director Matt Timman also assured us that they will still be touring for DLOFDC this summer. "A few scraped knees isn't a broken back." said Timman. However, some equipment was badly damaged in the ordeal, and now the Knights have to repair 2 tubas, 3 bass drums, and 1 badly broken set of tenors. The Mighty Crimson Knights Drum and Bugle Corps is a non-profit organization out of Sylvania, Ohio. The corps is directed by Matt Timman.

The Knights are going through some difficult times right now, after their Director disappeared after 6 days after delivering his now infamous "Bag Of Suck Speech" after a horrible performance at San Antonio, Texas.
As far as most of the corps members can remember, the director told them "That was a horrible display tonight, ladies and gentlemen. That was horrible, that didn't just suck, you took a whole bag of suck! You gave suck a new meaning! You brought suck to a whole new level!"
The Director returned a few days later, and started working with the corps again. Things have returned to normal as the season is winding down, and most corps members say that their goal for the season is to just "Not Suck."
