Since we have had such an incredible turn out in registration so far with DLOFDC 2005, the Executive Committee has decided to allow all corps that we have confirmed to be in Division 1 for the upcoming season to have the opportunity to create and name a "home show" for their corps.

The following is an up-to-date list of those who we have confirmed as being in Division 1:

To register your home show, click on "My Fantasy Corps" which is at the top left of every page at Drumlines.org. This will take you to your fantasy corps page. From there, pick a show from the drop down menu. Only shows in the state where your fantasy corps is from will be available for you to pick. Type in the name of your show where shown. Click "submit" and that is it! The script will enter your home show information into the DLOFDC Tour Schedule database. The entire season schedule may be viewed here.

Those Division 1 corps who already have a home show, i.e. YogiBoo, Kama Sutra, Whiskey River Regiment, will not have this option made available to them. This is only for those who do not have a home show thus far.

Finally, we allow only three shows per day to be a “home show.” There are shows already that we have already named that have no affiliation with a corps. This includes shows like "Nighbeat," "Drums along the Rockies" and "Drumming with the Mormons.” These count as a named show and therefore take a spot away from the available three shows per day.

YogiBoo will be hosting the 2nd Annual Lakeshore Spectacular July 13th in Evanston, IL! The competition will be held at Northwestern University, just steps away from beautiful Lake Michigan, Make your plans to join Season 2 co-defending champions YogiBoo and Whiskey River Regiment in competition, along with other perennial powerhouses from DLOFDC! Make your plans early to enter this contest! It wont be one to miss!

The Jackson Flares are to host their very first "Your Mom's A Drum Corps" home show in Jacksonville, FL. More details to come once we have threads for each corps.

Let your corps experience a free day in the Nation's Capital on July 4th and then come to the Scandals' Spectacular on July 5th at FedEx Field in Landover, MD, home of the Washington Redskins NFL team. In honor of independence day, a total of 4 hours and 15 minutes of fireworks will be seen during the competition. They will be shown before, in between each corps and after the show. Be prepared to get your eye brows singed. The Kama Sutra corps is urged not to attend or suggests temporary clothing for this shows .

Why is the whole season in Illinois?

Only shows in the state where your fantasy corps is from will be available for you to pick.

Then Sparkle! can't have it's home show in Jersey like it has in the past. Great. So much for Drums Among the Petroleum.

The Engineers would like to announce their home show called "Horns Across the Harbor" This will take place at beautiful M&T Bank Stadium in Baltimore, Maryland. We promise to have fresh Crab Cakes and other seafood available to all corps members and volunteers. The Divisions respective Winners will not only receive the coveted Harbor Trophy for their division, but will also receive a tour of the Harbor and nearby hisorical landmarks. The Engineers are not eligible for these prizes, for they are the host corps. So please, come on down and enjoy hearing "Horns across the Harbor".

Disclaimer: Should Kama Sutra decide to attend, we will not be liable for any and all arguments, negative gestures, etc. sent towards The Engineers Drum and Bugle Corps or any participating corps for their uniforms (or lack thereof). Should Kama Sutra be victorious, we will require that the corps at least have a shirt and shorts on to enjoy the prizes.

Since registration is now over, a few new corps have been placed into division 1. These corps may now pick a home show. Act now to get the competition you want, since home show picking will open up to division 2 corps tonight.

Division 2 corps may now pick and name a home show.

What about the all-male corps, such as The Brassiers and 'Sparkle! ? Still expect our men to show up naked?

This wasn't my idea. I asked if the people would allow any people dressed in any form (including being naked) and the companies just would not allow it. I'm sorry, there's nothing I can do....

VK Star will be having its home show, Durms and Bums, in Amherst Mass this year. The show will be completely sponsored by The Amherst Brewing Company. The ABC will also be providing all participating corps with a meal after the show. All corps directors and staffs are of course welcome to take part in the consumption of adult beverages. The ABC will also be ahndling our prizes. They have arranged for some of the lovely women from their neighboring town of Northampton to present the prizes.

Division 3 corps may now pick and name a home show!

My corps is from Columbus, but for some reason it wouldn't let me pick that for my home show, so I chose Toledo. Is there a reason for this?

Maybe the show in Columbus was already chosen by another corps in a higher division..?

This is true, but there was also a Toledo show chosen by a corps in a higher division. Are there more than one Toledo show and only one Columbus show or something?

There are 2 Toledo shows on the DLOFDC schedule, my corps has the home show on June 18th, and then there is also a Toledo show on July 14th.
