Wow! Those cadences are difficult. It would take a lot of practice time to get those down and ready to play. Those two can be played with lots of practice.

By the way, what he's playing and the sound are two different things. There's a shot where they are doing a stick visual, no hands are moving, and 3 notes come out.

i really hate it how the movie drumline gives most drumlines a bad rep. anyone of our lines could stomp the lines in that movie. it just pisses me off how people get the idea that that's what drumline is all about.

It's the only drum line movie ever, haha. Any ways, ya, he was really bad at his facial expressions. You gotta admit, though, he always looked like he was trying to look serious, and like he licked a hand full of lemons at the same time.
