Just got finished reading the q-bible and wow, great stuff but what happened to the diagrams and the section about stopping the stick? did he finish those parts?

This insane piece of percussive literature belongs in everyones library. Regardless of if you play tenors or not, theres a lot of stuff in there that applies to everything.

There appears to be a problem with the file. I am looking into it and will get back to everyone when I have fixed it.

This could have been dealt with sooner, but no one brought it to my attention until just now. This is why I repeatedly tell people to keep support in PMs and/or email.

...but I think I've solved why. At least in my case, I probably can't open it due to my rank (oh well). That's okay, though. I've got plenty of tenor stuff anyway.

dude i feel so blessed right now. Mike Stevens lives about 15 miles from me. Murray Gusseck and Jim Cassela were both living in Vacouver, Washington. Murray even taught Evergreen Highschool last year. Alan Keowan lives in Eugene. Not to mention other names like Jeff Bush... I live pretty close to marching heaven. : P

Great piece of literature, our drum instructor read excerpts of it to us, but i never had a chance to read the whole thing before now.

this is a GREAT piece of knowledge, very influential. I love the section about the head. We hear and read a lot of things on interp, control, timing, etc. etc. That stuff is all very important but rarely do we get taught how to think. That is just as if not more important than how we play.

It doesn't work for me. When I open it up it comes up with 19 blank pages and the title is a bunch of random numbers letters and symbols. Pleasehelp because this looks amazing.

Had some friends march at Cadets and they broke out the bible in the early 90's. They eneded up marching cadets for years and one is now a Blueman

Im on a mac and when I downloaded the the .plx file it said it expired in Nov of 2008. All I get is a bunch of blank pages. What's the point of this encryption thing? The only people that can download the Q-bible are members so why encrypt it if you show everyone how to open it? All this is doing is creating hassle for people who want to read it and learn from it

I would like to apologize for the last comment. I found you can only get Q-Bible to work if you have adobe reader on your mac. I was trying to open it with Preview. But regarding to the bible. After I read it it really motivated me to start practicing. This is a must have!!

Dude, you should read the rules. It will answer all the problems you have regarding why you can't download the Q bible. There is also a clear marked post about what to do to get these things. All on the first post.

And since I'm on here, I've had an issue downloading this. I'm on a Mac, I've had all the keys and adobe, but I get an odd error message. I'll try again, and correct myself if I get it working.

Update:
So I downloaded everything again, opened up the file, and I get a blank set of sheets, and gibberish on my sidebar. Not the strongest computer guy, so if any if you care to help me out it'd be much appreciated.

I used to own a 20th generation copy of the original back in the late 90's and have read it at least 80 times. Great info but I do not remember what was written in the stop the stick/speedo section. Does anyone have a copy of the original that can just put that paragraph in a reply ( if Mike is cool with that )?

Still get the Adobe ID error message ..

Rank isn`t needed to download Q-Bible so maybe he has to update his Adobe Reader. I could download it before I had rank.
