To make things a little more interesting, and fair, the Executive Committee has decided to allow ONE caption change to every corps in DLOFDC. However, we did not give an additional change to what you had existing already, but one for everyone across the board. The only exception is to those corps who "won" a caption change at a regional. SO with that exception, some corps may have upwards of 2-3 caption changes. The deadline for using this change is Monday, August 2nd at 10pm Eastern time. If you dont use it by then, tough noogies. It will be gone!

Also, make sure you stay tuned as the top 8 corps from the Orlando, Allentown and DLOFDC Regional Championships will be announced tonight for the "invite" only Murfreesboro show on Friday. The top 3 at this invitational will get a caption change as well. Yes, we are being generous!

As a result of the Mufreesboro show last night for DLOFDC, the following 4 corps will receive a caption change:

Congrats to the corps for placing in the top 3! The regional tonight in Indianapolis will have everyone from Division 1 competing for a last caption award. Those placing in the top 3 tonight will received a caption change. In addition, all caption changes including the one that was given to everyone a few days ago will need to be used by Monday at 10pm EST. No exceptions! thats all....carry on.

Congrats to YogiBoo, Whiskey River Regiment and The Guardsmen for placing in the top 3 at the Indianapolis regional! A reminder to EVERYONE - If you have caption changes, they must be used by tonight at 10pm EST. If you dont, they will be gone!

I'd be interested to see some stats as to how many corps actually changed their captions during the season, how many changes they made, and what the net result was from those changes.

On a side note, in the tour schedule Div II/III finals are listed on two seperate nights. Souldn't the first of those be Div II/III semifinals?

And lastly, will the top few Div II corps get to try to move up to Div I and if so, how will the scoring take place since the caption points differ?
