Im not sburstall....thats the guy who runs the DCP fantasy league. And yes, I do have a life

YogiBoo is riding a three show winning streak going into a day off today while the corps travels to Canton, MI for tomorrow nights show. The show features the long awaited matchup between YogiBoo and the debut of last seasons powerhouse corps, DC Scandals. The corps plans to spend the majority of the day in intense rehearsals working on individual sections to improve the music scores.

"While the GE caption scores are much higher than we anticipated, we really have to focus a little bit more on our music scores," said corps director Mark Bernal.

Not only is the corps riding a three show winning streak, but they are also ranked number 1 amongst all corps in DLOFDC.

YogiBoo's unis look frightenly similar to Emperor... I take it the judges are appreciating the indoor snares on the field?

Thanks Mer And yes EnsErmac...the judges LOVE the indoor snares. Although, it looks like the Brooklyn Rodgerers are providing some STIFF competition for YogiBoo. After last night's show, they were only a .1 behind us in the rankings. Although we are confident in our program and the skill level are members are at.

July 7th...YogiBoo already has that day circled in red! Although Im still a little fearful about Velocity, DC Scandals and Spirit of CR. They made a late season surge last season and put the fear of Buddha in alot a lot of corps. Let's not forget about the Brassiers! Even though John is on the road, he still will make caption changes!

I got a quick question.
Judging by those pictures, you have a very strong drumline. However, if you are so great, how come the stands are empty?

Have you ever been to a show where the BACKFIELD SEATS were filled? If you have, let me know...because I haven't

Well, Bernie_Pit, I've only been to one show, and all of the seats there were filled....I don't know what this means, but in response to your question, that'd have to be a yes.

YogiBoo has definately been sweating the past few competitions! Two narrow wins in a row has kept the undefeated streak alive for YogiBoo in the DLOFDC League. In Washington DC, YogiBoo narrowly defeated fellow NEA! member Whiskey River Regiment by .1 to take the win. Following the competition, YogiBoo opted to pass up a victory performance for the crowd. Instead, YogiBoo invited WRR to a "standstill" performance for each others corps in the endzone. It was reminiscent of the encore performances that occured between Star of Indiana and Cadets of Bergen County in 1993.

Last night in Springfield, MA, YogiBoo escaped the highly talked about Guardsmen Drum and Bugle Corps with a somewhat decisive 1 point win. The meeting was the first between the two corps in what is sure to be a heated rivalry.

"Whew!" was all corps director Mark Bernal could say. The corps plans to take the 4th of July off by enjoying the sites of Boston and then will make their way to Gorham, NY tomorrow for intense rehearsals and returning to competition on the 6th.
