I just barely finished writing a little trooping cadence for my section. I'll put it up so you guys can hear it. The intro sounds like it has some crazy 32's everywhere but they are just flams. Finale didn't do a very good job, but the independence part has a nice marching feel to it. Tell me what you think. The sleigh bells and wierd horn are the two spock drums. The whistle is the rim on drum 3. This is all tenor drum, no bass or any other section. Too bad the midi doesn't get the intro's accidentals. It'll sound way better once i play it on the drums.

a that was hot i think you should give it a bass part and snare. and forthe cybals they should be on every beat ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch ch .thats a hi hat sound but thats hot

Yea who knows depending on how the line reacts to it i might make it a full line cadence. Oh and i changed the midi, i just deleted the grace notes so you could here the "accents" in the intro.

ya the cymbals need to do something more than what they are doing. and a little more movement on the tenors. try a jersy street beat.

I think it is very cool. With the explaining he did...it sounded fine to me....I can get the feeling for it. The music would help of course but you have a cool tenor thing there.

Ok i made some revisions and was able to change it so the flams sound more realistic. If anyone knows of a program that has the actual sounds of the tenor drums please let me know.
