The PDF files contained in this forum have been encrypted by the Drumlines.org staff. This is not a way of trying to pass the works off as our own, rather a way to protect our investment of the time it takes to gather these resources into one place.

If you do not have the latest version of either Acrobat or Acrobat Reader, get it.

You will need to right-click and save the following file in order to view an encrypted PDF downloaded from Drumlines.org.

Download this file:
http://www.drumlines.org/adobesecurity/DrumlinesorgMember.pfx

When you open the PDF, you will be prompted to choose a certificate security. Select Default Certificate Security. Next, click "Find Your Digital ID File..." and proceed to select the DrumlinesorgMember file that you previously saved. Enter the password of 'drumlinesorg'. You will only have to do this once per browser session.

If you're using the 7 series, you may have to follow these instructions:

Open Adobe Acrobat Reader 7. Go to Document -> Security Settings. (In Adobe Acrobat Professional 7.0.8 The security settings is actually in the Advanced menu rather than the Document menu... - Trimen1000) Click the Digital IDs link on the left. On the menubar at the top click Add ID. Choose Find an existing Digital ID and click Next. Browse to where you saved the DrumlinesorgMember.pfx file, select it, and then enter the password 'drumlinesorg'. Click Next, and then Finish. Close
the security settings and then try opening the PDF file again.

If you have followed these correctly, and still can't open them, I don't know what to tell you. The issue is more than likely on your end, since just about everyone else can open them. I am no Acrobat guru, so I don't know what else to tell you but to make sure you are following the instructions correctly, try uninstalling and reinstalling Adobe Acrobat Reader, or search http://www.adobe.com for answers.
