The new season schedule is posted, due to some very vague rules and not a lot of help from other directors, has given us an incomplete season. I had realized that we would be short on money for competitions. I tried to make up the loss with the Hangmen DL's raised money, but a little known fact to me is " one hosted show per drumline". Now we stop at Feb, 26, 2012 so if anyone wants to host a show please do!

You can attach your show to the DLO leagues schedule. If not the DLO champianship will be held on the 26 of February.You will still be able to join other shows to fill out your season schedule.

I thought I saw as I was registering for comps that there were two on the same day? Was that intentional?

No it was not, it was a mistake but one not fixable,According to the site moderators.

This is what I wanted to do, I had the idea to have a short quick battle. Not a prolonged season. Now due to the small number of members in the league, the extra money given was low. We did how ever make over $30,000 last season, but at $4000 a show and better limited the number of shows. That's why we had so few shows in a short time, I wanted to finish out the season with the Hangmens winnings but you are only allowed one hosted show a line. Did not know this small detail till after the fact.

It was my mistake by making the schedule on a iPhone, a simple slip of the finger and "boom!" two shows on one date,a mistake that can't be fixed.

Tonight is the start of the Second season of the FDL, and we are off to a flamming good start! This will be a challenging season, with the promotion of two of our drumlines to Div 2. We also have 10 new members this time around ( busy beating the DLO drum! ), so the compitition will be close!

Its pretty easy to make a mistake. I'm still trying to figure out much of it too.

The number of DLO members and DLO staff that play on the DLOFDL league is 6, had no choice in offering memberships outside of DLOFDL. Since no one wants to join, I had to go out side the box and find league members to keep things running.

Besides a few new members said they were going to join DLO, so I'm recruiting Also, ha! We now have 19 members total, with over 30 more invites still out not answered.

The DLOFDL must be making waves in the parking lot, seems now some Directors really want our league at their show or dislike us to the point of holding show application till the last possible moment, then declining your app so as to cut the numbers of days you compete. Sad! I lost 7 shows from one league, that's ok I beat them once I will beat them again just out of spite!
