Each autumn, since 1993, the Marcus Percussion organization (in Flower Mound, TX - D/FW Area) sponsors and host the Lone Star Classic Drumline Competition. Lone Star Classic is the regions premier Drumline competition routinely hosting more than 80 drumlines in standstill and marching categories. This year the Lone Star Classic is moving to a "prelim/finals" format.
