I really appreciate the feedback, guys; that this stuff is appreciated is good motivation for me to package my licks and tricks into something substantial like a solo. I've mostly been big about warm-ups and street beats, so everything that isn't skill-specific or at 120 BPM just sits in a notebook for a rainy day. Right now I'm writing a snare drum duet for an East Carolina University music student's senior recital, and that's been a fun process of looking through years of stuff for ideas. I can't play quads though; all my quad parts are kinda samey, and I just try to get away with it.
If you like my writing, please share my website with people you know; someone's bound to find some of the material useful, and that's what I really want. I'm working on trying to get my street beats published, so that sheet music is only available on an ask-me-for-it basis, but I got a tonne of warm-ups, exercises, and stadium grooves freely accessible.
I'm also working on an annotations for the big big exercise packet I co-wrote for my alma mater's drumline. I might do some videos related to that too. Any excuse to keep the sticks in my hands.
