Hi all
I'm a high school band director that wants to put one kid on all 4 tonal bass drums. I know I've seen stands out there that will hold all 4, but I can't find any. I don't want 4 separate stands, just one one wheels so its easily transportable. Any ideas where I can find one! Thanks!

I had the same situation, one kid for five bass drums, I rewrote the bass part a little easier for the kid since he was a freshman. But yeah it can be done, send
me your email in a pm and I will send you a drawing of what we made.

You're going to love this, we must talk!

Our Line has the same issue and I was going to build a custom rack to hold 4 bass drums. We need to be able to split them back out for the marching band quickly. I would be very interested in seeing any drawings that people have.

Anything to keep kids playing!

A school I worked for built X-shaped stands out of 2-by-4's, wrapped the part of the stand that touched the drum hoop in carpet, and put those stands on top of a big cart that student could stand on while playing. This was incredibly bulky, but it worked pretty well.

I bet you could build a lighter cart in the shape of an arch and suspend the drums between 5 upright posts mounted to the cart.

I have looked for the drawing and can't find them but I will have them drawn up and post a link to get them.

But my design is based on a saw horse, this was a school that is in the poorest county in my state, there is more to it than that. They worked very well, easy to take of the field and you can break them down for transport. I would love to here other ideas for others who are faced with this opportunity to have the cleanest bass line ever!
