So I've been playing quads for a few weeks now, (I'm in high school) and our line started working on 'Cheetah' yesterday. Any tips for learning it efficiently? Thanks

Teach what you embody, and embody what you teach.
I agree with DCBC, I would suggest at home working on a single pad till you get the sticking down then when you can play it with out the sheet, then work on splitting it on your tenors. As Bill said use your met and try and find a MP3 of the piece and just jam your little heart out.
When first learning an instrument, concentrate on basics rather than a particular piece of music. For new tenor players, I strongly recommend the book Quad Logic. For a quad player, it's the best $15 investment you can make. And if you've got extra bucks to spend, the accompanying DVD Reefed Beats is great, too.
There's quite a bit of technique that's specific to tenors -- playing zones, crossovers, scrapes, etc. -- on top of simply navigating the drums. Quad Logic does a great job of introducing and explaining those techniques and gives exercises to work on mastering them.
Honestly, the best way to learn anything is chunking.
Take one measure, learn it, and then practice it until it's comfortable. Then learn the measure after it and do the same thing. Then practice them together. Repeat this process until you've learned the whole thing.
If you're really having trouble, you can do this within measures. Like learn half the measure, learn the other half, and then play it together.
