Does anyone know of a good program for writing indoor drill that won't cost me my soul. I've always just written everything out by hand in a notebook, but with this being the age of technology, i'm looking to up grade. My budget is limited, but since I know nothing about these programs, or what they could offer me i'm open to whatever advice you guys have...

Pyware is the standard, but it ain't cheap. I don't personally know of any other programs that are cheaper and anywhere near as capable.

There is a program called Field Artist out there. They seem pretty legit. I've never used the program, but it is far cheaper than Pyware

Pyware also has a student version that may be cheaper
