Well, this forum has rules implemented. If you don't like the rules, by all means start up your own forum and allow everyone to typ lyk dis omgz bludevz r so rox! (Looks stupid right? Yeah, we do too.)
Don't like it? Leave. I don't wish for people to type like that. When someone calls someone out for posting a double negative though, that's a little stupid. I don't know how you can justify brushing me off like that. Your extreme example is really just a poor justification for continuing to bash people for stuff that would pass in a first or second year high school class, especially seeing how many of the people on here are high school students. BTW, I said that just calling people out on poor English is against this forum's rules. "Try not to post comments that do not add anything to the discussion. When you are just cruising through a thread in a leisurely manner‚ it is not too annoying to read many "I agree" posts. However‚ if you are actually trying to find information‚ it is a nuisance. Therefore‚ save those curt responses for the "Off—Topic" forum."
I also fully understand that one of the rules explicitly say use proper English. "Also‚ post using proper English spelling‚ grammar‚ and punctuation. It makes posts a lot easier to comprehend‚ and it represents you to the world. English shortcuts (neways‚ 2 instead of too‚ etc.) and slang in every other word may work for instant messaging‚ but it has no place at Drumlines.org." However, this rule is fully for comprehension and not to state your superiority in the English language to other people on this forum. Many people are using this rule to vent what seems to be a superiority complex. The rule based on non-beneficial posts however is violated by posting something like "maybe you should learn the correct form of "too."' before posting next time." That post only deals with the spelling of the word "too." Generally this forum posts about drumming and not about the correct usage of the word "too." Thus that post deals little with a common topic on this forum. I just want to see people punished for doing that crap. And do not say my example is invalid as I've seen just as bad on this forum.

I think you missed the tone of that post, warboy.
Firstly, correcting someone's rule breaking is not on-topic, but it's kind of like the police in a high speed chase. To enforce the rules, they get a pass on other law breaking.
Secondly, you're whining about what? You're either capable of obeying the rules and are just too lazy to do so or you're incapable, and we need to help you.
Thirdly . . . well, seriously, just quit your whining. You're coming across as an ingrate. If you want things to change, start your own damned forum. This place has been a haven to me for several years. I don't care if you don't like it. I do, and the vast majority of the members do. Obey or GTFO.
