Season starts soon. Wanted to know if we would be running another season. So if you were in and want to continue, or want to participate post up. a 12 or 16 team league would be sweet.

Note to perspective owners: This is not a set it and forget it thing. it is a 16 week commitment. owners that go auto pilot for the whole season ruin it for the other owners.

When would the draft take place?

I'd like in once again.

Draft TBD. once we have the owners, we'll discuss a time and date. obviously before regular season begins.

EPSN league or yahoo? both are free. the ESPN interface is better IMO.
Draft or Auction? (auctions are way more fun)

How does the auction work?

I haven't tried ESPN. I kinda dig that in Yahoo, I can look at the results of every league I've ever done.

My personal preference is a draft, but I can go either way. How does an auction work for owners who can't make the auction time?

Ive never had the issue of not having an owner not make the auction, id have to look at the contingency. I wonder if there was a way to set it for a 4 round auction then finish in a draft.

Auctions work exactly like it sounds. You get x amount of money to spend on your team. you can bid on player, and so can others. high bidder win the player.
The fun part is trying to get your opponents to over pay by bidding against him, only that can back fire on you, and then you get stuck with a WR you don't want or need.

This is all very preliminary. Trying to generate some interest and discussion.

IMO, ESPN's Fantasy interface trumps Yahoo and NFL.com's interface twenty times over. I've only been into Fantasy Football for a year or two, but I've tried out essentially everything you can.

SkyDog, you can look at the results of every league you've done on ESPN as well.

Also, Insomniac, I'm almost 100% sure you can't do a draft half-Auction and half-Snake...it needs to be one or the other.

...except that I've never done an ESPN league. I've probably got 10 baseball & football seasons on Yahoo.

No big deal. I'd just have to start a brand new trophy case on ESPN.
