I agree with what has been said here about running samples off a computer. It works, but it is not preferable. For my drumline's first year of competition, we used my MacBook. It usually worked really well, but it skipped in the middle of a sample that was really exposed in 2 shows. It was very frustrating that we didn't get the perfect effect after all that work! Hopefully we get an SPD-S or something next season.
