I saw this when I went to Vic Firth's page and was absolutely amazed by this. When I first wanted to start teaching, I was given a copy of Thom Hannum's book by my instructor at the time and told to live by it when teaching. This is that book and then some. Between the video examples and included music, Vic Firth has gone above and beyond for the Marching Percussion Community. I recommend all new instructors, band directors, and those even thinking about doing it, take a long look at the offerings, there is a lot of content to be learned from this.

Kudos once again to Vic Firth for understanding that it is better for them to grow the activity than just to sell their product.
