my line did this with our bass drums baisicly you have the 2 outside guys stand up straight while the other crouches down a little then reverse it so the out side is crouching repeat with the beat of the music then at the end have them all lean right and begin rolling for a mesure then after a measure on every 4th beat have starting from the left one player stop untill there is one player left playing. add an acented rim shot and end for a neat effect

I always find that a good visual for any line is playing with the same stick heights. ;]

I recommend playing clean and with proper heights first. If you've got that down I like the visual at the end of our snare feature a few years back.

There is always the classic stick wave and almost any visual that you do with 2 or more people at the same time will look B.A. if you execute it properly...But like others have said, playing clean is (or should be) the first and main priority with visuals just being icing on the cake.

Play on each other's drums. Dude I'm really sorry it's off topic but I'm doing your show this year too!

It was probably said, but you can always hit on each other's drums.
R (hand) - Drum to the right
L (hand) - Drum to the left
Outside snare to the right would have to hit an "air drum" on R hand and vise versa for the left drum.

My snareline practices this (so we can do it clean and we don't hit each others arms :p) like paradiddles

Capitalized letters are accented (hit someone elses drum on the accented part)
Rlrr Lrll RlRllr LrLrll RlrrLrL rrlrr (roll for 2 beats) rim shot.
