Well I was on my iPod Touch and was sitting around searching safari. I thought why not have a drumline.org app for the ipod touch. I see so many other mini-apps for like facebook, myspace, and tumblr. Why not make a drumlines.org app for iPod touch. What do you think?

Just use safari. There isn't really a need for one. Facebook and the others all have specific reasons why they need a standalone app to efficiently be used on their website, even though they can be visited in safari.

actually it is free to make and distribute as long as you do not distribute it using the iPod app store. you just have to know how to code.

Yea well I mean it's alot of stuff and you can use safari, but like something like have it be able to give your the PDF files on the iPod instead of seperate apps. i think it would be cool

I have a suggestion. Either use Firefox, or make use of our spell check feature.

Haha, I agree with the master. It is a cool idea, I think. Many applications are over sites like DLO.ORG and are better than most non internet applications. If it had some cool features on it that a normal internet application usually does not have, then go for it. I would so buy it update me if you do.

Suggestions:

PDF compatibility (Like You Stated)
Instant Chat (Something Around That Matter Like The Shout Box)
Save PDF's, Mp3's, and other files.

I'm not sure if that is possible, but if it was/is then i'm all up for it.

my sole purpose for logging on was to suggest this!! its a great idea. have fun wrighting it though. it would help me because my itouch doesn't like posting through the safari program. and i think that those of us on tour would find it nice to keep in touch. you know with all the free time you get. oh and it defintly needs a spellcheck feature for people like me who just fail at the english language.
