Announcing the 2009 DLOFDC winners! All of the winners this season are celebrating their first DLOFDC championship!

From Division 1: The Minutemen
The Minutemen began their DLOFDC career last season in Division 2 and finished in 9th place. Quite an impressive leap to make!

From Division 2: Axiom
Axiom placed 13th in Division 3 last year. Another Cinderella story!

From Division 3: Chuck E. Cheeze
Chuck E. Cheeze (formerly known as Chucky Cheeze) is the oldest FDC to win their division this season. They started in the DLOFDC in 2006 with a placement of 3rd in Division 3. In 2007 they were promoted to Division 2 but fell in the rankings to 14th. This devastating blow caused them to become inactive for the 2008 season, but they came back with a vengeance to win Division 3 this year.


In 2nd place we have Hurricane in Division 1, The Spartans in Division 2, and Nemesis in Division 3.

Hurricane started their DLOFDC career in 2006 placing 4th in Division 3. They placed 6th upon moving up to Division 2 in 2007 and placed 3rd in their first year in Division 1 in 2008. This fantasy corps has consistently placed high over the years.

The Spartans is another fantasy corps who have had success in DLOFDC. They started out as the Motor City Cadets in 2006 by placing 2nd in Division 3. In 2007 they were bumped to Division 2 and finished the season in 4th place. They mysteriously disappeared in 2008, but came back retooled as The Spartans this season.

Nemesis made their first appearance in 2007 where they took 1st place in Division 5. Financial problems caused them to not field a fantasy corps in 2008.


Third place this season goes to The Existentialists of Division 1, SM Knights of Division 2, and Hella Drummers of Division 3.

The Existentialists are the oldest FDC to medal this season. They have been in DLOFDC since 2005 where they placed 3rd in Division 3. The won Division 2 in 2006 and have been in Division 1 since 2007. They placed 8th in both 2007 and 2008.

The SM Knights and Hella Drummers are both rookie FDCs this season.




The following fantasy corps won the most gold medals this season in their division:
Division 1: The Dreadnoughts (19)
Division 2: Axiom (18)
Division 3: Hella Drummers (17)

A sad season for VK Star. The first season for us not to make a finals appearance. We apparently peaked early this year. Great run for the corps though.

Congrats to all the corps and those who medaled. It might be FDC but its still nice to be a winner. Nice job to all.

Woohoo this made for an extremely fun summer Thanks to all who put the effort in to making DLOFDC run smoothly!!

You hate getting a clue AFTER the date for making changes. But next year, watch out. Or not.
