I doubt they'll send me a brand new corps drum. It was used by Phantom Regiment. 2008, of course.

ahh, gotcha. It come w/ a warranty or no? What I was saying is that one of Dynasty's major strengths is customer service so if it has a warranty, they'll probably hook you up w/ a new wrap or glue job. They're finally singling stuff out from corps sales? Maybe I can get a hold of one of those Glassmen tenors. smile

You won't get a Glassmen Tenor.

I originally bought a Glassmen Snare but they had already sold the set, so that means no more Glassmen anything.

You can try Blue Devils though. They're selling that.

Dynasty's Warranty paper says that it has one covered. Do you think I should send it to get re-wrapped? If possible?

IMO if you get it re-wrapped, it kind of losses its charm of being a championship drum. When you bought it you bought it with history attached which means each scratch or ding has a meaning.

I personally own a cadets 93 snare. its way beat up, but I know there is only 8 drums out there that have that custom finish. not to mention a championship. So even though its not perfect and has battle scars it still holds more value then if I got it recovered and re powdercoated.

just my 2 cents.

but.. this isn't the first time I've seen the coverings bubble on Dynasty drums. BD has the same issues this year on white drums.. maybe great customer service but I still would rather have it done right then to lose my drum for two weeks to fix an issue that shouldn't be a problem to begin with.

Oh man, would you mind taking photos of that 93' Cadets? I have never seen an actual real user photo of it before!

Yeah, I heard BD's drum went through the same thing. I hope it's taken care of though.

yeah I will get a few up tomorrow.

I hope so too. I think Dynasty will have to build new sets to replace the bubbled ones. Highly doubt they can send them back.

Just bugs me that white drums bubble.
