So today, i was in the drum room practicing. And the idea to get out some tenors hit my mind.Don't ask me why, i play snare and am not really the brightest fellow.
But something weird happened.I couldn't attach them to the carrier!I wrestled with those things for 5 minutes....
Of course a friend of mine (top bass) walks in, looks at me, laughs, and walks out.

I later noticed that the problem was the j bars....
Just thought i would share my awkward experience with you guys.

What about the J-bars? Were you wearing a snare carrier? Were they broken? Were they missing? Kind leaves ya hanging when there's no "punchline".

That's kinda redundant. All you had to do was say "I play snare." From there I could have logically deduced that you weren't very bright and you had probably done something stupid today.

Like most snare drummers, you chose to pick up a set of tenors on a whim and absolutely no good came from it.

Learn from this experience grasshopper.

lol nice dude. my rookie year i tried putting on the second bass.

and the little bar things that keeps the bass elevated or w/e..i tried sliding those through the spots u hook the harness onto...
then it dawned on me that the hooks were actually at the top of the harness XD

We had a marimba player play bass 5 for a parade...it was the funniest thing watching him try to put it on.

This thread is like a bad dream.
