Hey guys, just trying to see the interest for this year's DLO Fantasy Football.

I'm looking for a minimum of 7 active managers for FF teams, but would prefer a group of 12 (meaning 11 managers).

Please, if you can not be active during the entire season, DO NOT APPLY!

People from last year will be given priority to rejoin the FF league. It will be on Yahoo! Fantasy Sports.

To apply simply state that you are interested and once there are enough people here that are interested, I'll send out a PM to all of those who are going to get in.

Don't do this if you don't know the NFL. I'd like it to be somewhat competitive. The draft will be live, and will probably be on Saturday August 23rd or Saturday August 30th, depending on the available times it may have to move to a weekday or other part of the weekend. It will, without a doubt, be a live draft.

Alright, I sent out a few invites to mostly people who have played in our previous leagues.

Our live draft is tentatively set for Saturday August 30th at 6pm EDT.

Edit: MCPWayne, in years past where we've had more than enough people apply, it was never more than enough to justify a new league. It was usually something along 4-6 people over the 12 man cap I put on the league. Even if it were say, 8 or 10 people over the cap, you'd have to account for the fact that some people won't register anyways due to not checking PMs or DLO and some just won't even be active if they do register so getting the people that express the most interest first is generally going to grab the people who will actively participate (and the leftovers wouldn't be good for a competitive second league).

No, I'm just trying to give the past team managers a chance to post before I start handing out the league ID and password to people new to the DLO FFL.

I'll give those people until Friday, after which I'll pass out the league info to those who applied in the thread to fill up as needed.

I have sent invitations to the league to a number of returning members, some who have not yet registered. I will start sending out the same registration information to members new to the DLO Fantasy Football League in the next day or so. At that time, registration will be offered on a first come, first served basis. On the chance that We fill up to 10 people and still have interest, I will increase the maximum to 12.
