As most of you know, Motor City Marauders Drum and Bugle Corps folded for the 2007 season. We went through some financial troubles as well as a parting of ways amongst the directive staff and management as far as what direction to take the corps. This year however I am proud to announce that every problem has been taken care of and under a shortened name and a brand new staff, Motor City Drum and Bugle Corps is ready for action! Look out for us in Division 3 this year, we'll see you at finals!

The Corps is still Looking to fill some staff positions,

we are in need of a bass drum tech, a trumpet tech and a contra tech. If anyone is interested please PM me with the reasons you think you would be good for this position and we will get back with you shortly.

With the season well under way Motor City Drum and Bugle Corps is sitting in the middle of the pack. Corps Director Adam Smith had this to say.

" We like where we are at right now, the corps is rehearsing great, the kids are all excited about the show, and the staff is hard at work perfecting the little things that are going to help push us to the top."

When asked about Motor city's chances at medaling this year Adam replied only with this

"We still have plenty of tricks up our sleeves, be ready to see us move quickly to the top come mid July."

Well into the season now the Motor City Drum and Bugle corps sees their ranking slip further down the chart. The scores just do not seem to be increasing at a rate as fast as the other corps. When speaking to corps director Adam Smith he stated that "we have some minor changes we are making to the show for GE purposes as well as some drill and music changes as well. We worked hard on a few spots this past weekend and hopefully after a couple shows under our belts the kids will be comfortable with all the changes we had to make"

Tonight they will get the chance to prove the changes helped as the corps continues their nation wide tour in Romeoville, IL

DRUM CORPS GETS OUT OF HAND AFTER FIRST PLACE FINISH

The Motor City Drum and Bugle corps just took a third straight gold medal at competition and moved to the number one ranking spot in DLOFDC division 3. After learning the fantastic news the corps rioted in the streets of Romeoville, IL reaking havoc and destruction the entire while on there way to Perfidy, OH the location of the corps next show. No comment was released by the director and it is yet to be known the ramifications the circuit will place on the corps.

Motor City Drum and Bugle Corps continues gold medal streak.

With this past weekends regional comcluded, Motor City Drum and Bugle Corps has continued the gold medal streak to 6 shows. "Sitting in first place right now has really lit a fire under our group. Our performance level has just intensified since we got those 3 golds in a row." Corps director Adam Smith went on to say "Having stretched our gold medal streak to 6 with a win at a regional is such a great feeling, I'm proud of each and every person associated with this group for their hard work and dedication."

The only question left to ask is who will end this streak, if iat all?
