2008 Uniforms:

This year's uniform, and probably many years to come because of the work, pays tribute to both the 'regiment' name and the green of the 'Natural State' (Arkansas). The uniform jacket includes a window, which in turn includes the hilt of a sword and cadet-style buttons, and comes complete with a helmet and all historical inaccuracies.

RVR is pleased to announce it's schedule and home show for the 2008 DLOFDC Summer Tour:

Music On The Riverfront - July 23rd
Van Buren, AR
We look forward to seeing the many corps join us that night in our backyard; if you haven't scheduled it yet, and have an opening, come on over! This is sure to be a great location with a great audience.

For their inaugural season in Div. 3, RVR will begin the summer up North before working it's way down the East Coast. The 2nd half of the summer will be spent in the South and Mid-West before backtracking to finals in Indy.

Add it to your schedule if you haven't already, show starts early so there's plenty of room for everyone.

After opening the season in 30th place overall, RVR was very excited to receive their first gold medal of the season in Oswego, IL last night with a score of 72.8! Having now moved up from 30th to currently 6th overall, we hope the improvement to our show continues in that upward direction.

The members found the percussion feature, "(pi)r²", to be slightly more difficult than expected to start the season, but we contribute our vast score improvement to a few cleaning days.

We look forward to seeing everyone at the Madison regional on Saturday - now, on to Racine!
