I not going to go there, but I can have so much fun with this. All in good spirit though, just to make the wait more interesting.

Ok, will you guys please give it a rest. The judges have actual lives with some combination of families, jobs, school work, winter line rehearsals, or DCI rehearsals to deal with on a daily basis. It has not even been two weeks since the judges received all of the cadences, which I might add would have been done much sooner if some of the entries had actually followed the rules when it comes to the submissions. I personally had to redo wav files and convert them to mp3s and make a pdf from finale files. Someone else had to remove a name from one of the submissions and make an mp3 from a sibelius file. As of right now, the judging deadline is set for Sunday. So, unless something changes the judging will be completed then. That means a tally will be done on Monday and an announcement of finalists will be made at that time. This is all tentative, so please don't hold me too that if it doesn't happen for one reason or another.

There will be a panel of judges to determine the finalist cadences; the winner will then be determined by a DLO community vote.
What precaughtions if any are in place for, let's say if the name of a participant's cadence is intententionally leaked to get community votes? Ex: "Hey guys, the name of my cadence is "madoldskool" go and vote for me on DLO, and if you don't have an account, make one and vote for me." I know that no one will do this, but it can happen. Just curious...
