2007 Show:

"Journey Through the Divine" is based on Dante's, Divine Comedy, and features original music written by the staff.

Mvt. 1: Inferno
The show opens with a mysterious introduction and quickly accelerates into a fast tempo. The movement continues with a dark and sinister feel, and comes to an end with a massive hit.

Mvt. 2: Purgatorio
The second movement is much more machine-like than the first. Quotes from the opener can be heard through rhythmic and metallic sounds in the background. There are several drum breaks throughout the piece before it ends.

Mvt. 3: Beatrice
In the story, Beatrice helps to guide Dante through paradise and is his greatest inspiration. This movement is the ballad and features the front ensemble.

Mvt. 4: Paradiso
The closer is much like the opener in its structure, but is more like a fanfare. The fast tempo draws the listener in one last time before the show comes to a close with another hit and a quiet ritard into the final arpeggio.

That doesn't sound familiar to the Font Devils.

Forgive my ignorance, but is that supposed to mean something?

5th in Pasadena!

The Wallingford Regiment concluded another successful season last night in Pasadena, CA. They placed fifth in Division 3 World Championships with a score of 92.475, a mere 0.075 from second place.

"Last night was definitely our best performance of the season," said director, LafayetteSnare. "I think the audience really liked the show, and this group really stepped it up from last year."

Congratulations to all who performed in finals.
The Wallingford Regiment will return...
