The recently finished Legionnaires' Compass Rose™

Corps Director Jeff Gomez had this to say about the corps' sudden move into first, "What? We're in first now? Last I checked we were 14th! Gotta love that music score though. Maybe we can get that visual score up a bit... then we'd be unstoppable!"

On another note, the afore displayed Legionnaires' Compass Rose™ is now the official logo of the corps. They are planning to use it in next year's uniform remodel.

The Legionnaires are very appreciative of all who participated in our unofficial home show in Ogden, UT. We had a great turnout. Nearly all seats were sold out in the somewhat large Weber State University's Dee Events Center. And, as should be the case in every home show, the home corps took home the gold! Congrats to the other medalists, and we wish to all luck for the most important month of the season, August.

Corps Update:
All changes are now set in stone. The only thing we can do now is pray for the Academy's color guard

The Legionnaires would like to thank the judges for their gracious scores, and invite them to our first annual golf tournament. Good luck to all the corps in finals today!

The Legionnaires would like to congratulate the Fantasia, and My Mom's fantasy corps on their 2nd and 3rd placements, respectively.

"Congratulations on a fantastic debut year. I appreciate all the hard work and time spent by the corps members to build this into a champion corps. I would also like to thank the volunteers and staff for all they have contributed to the program. So long to the age-outs, and thank you. You inspire us all with your leadership. I sincerely hope all the corps members desire to return next season. Now go and get some sleep! You've earned it Legionnaires!"

Ladies and gentlemen, I present to you the DLOFDC 2007 Division 4 Champions, The Legionnaires!

The first half of their season was a little shaky, a medal here and a medal there, but they earned a Gold Medal at 13 of their final 14 shows! To what do they owe their fantastic rookie-year success? Some say it was luck, some say it was hard work and dedication, and others say it was the liberal use of a cattle prod. Whatever it was, The Legionnaires let everyone know they're a fantasy corps to be reckoned with.

And if you haven't seen it, they have a wonderful Web site which is linked from the fantasy corps director's signature. One of the best this Executive Committee member has ever seen. We in the EC appreciate The Legionnaires' amount of devotion to their fantasy corps and will not forgot it. We gladly invite them to compete in at least Division 3 next season and look forward to the butt-kickings that will ensue.
