Out of nowhere come the Prairie Ridge Drum and Bugle Corps from Crystal Lake, Illinois. This small corps started only a year ago and they have become one of the best corps around. This corps is fairly large and marches close to 125 people. In the town of Crystal Lake, people are getting excited for the first season of drum corps action.

A few reasons why we are here today are to announce our 2006 Division 5, DLOFDC Show, our 2006 uniforms, the 2006 repertoire, instructors, and the 2006 Sponsors. We will give a brief description on all of those and get you more updates as they come. Thank you!

The Show
Prairie Ridge Drum and Bugle Corps is proud to present LIV-A-BETES as there 2006 Show. This show paints a story of a young man who has developed Type 1 diabetes, and how he copes with it and changes diabetes, to LIV-A-BETES!

The Uniforms
The 2006 Prairie Ridge Uniforms are brand new, thanks to all the corps members and volunteers who fundraised for all of the uniforms and hats! These top of the line uniforms were made custom for Prairie Ridge. There is a file attachment at the top of this post to view our uniforms. Here is quick rundown of the uniform. Let’s start off at the top with the hat. The hat is a western style black cowboy hat. On the left side of the hat, the side is flipped up and attached to the side. Inside the flap is where the plume is held in. The plume lies down on top of the brim of the hat. Next is the coat. The coat is maroon with silver lining, and silver buttons. In the middle of the front side, there is a white and silver sash. On the back side there is a silver and white cape that accents the coat nicely. The pants are actually overalls. The overalls are black, same as the shoes.

We have not released the color guard uniforms at this time.

As the season nears we would just like to thank everyone who has been and will be part of this long journey. Another group we’d like to thank is our instructors. They put endless amount of hours and it really does pay off nicely. We’d also like to give a big thank you to all of our sponsors this year, without them, we would not be able to have a season this year. Also, last but not least, all of our members who are participating, this will be one heck of year for us and lets head straight for the top!

Glad to see another Division 5 corps posting up, now I don't feel so lonely in the Div 5 forum.

The Redneck Regiment wishes you the best of luck and look forward to seeing your show for the first time in Lisle.
