The Wallingford Regiment is in its first year in the DLOFDC and is proud to announce its 2006 competition show, "In Motion". This show features all original music written by the staff. Mvt. 1: Energy Mvt. 2: Action and Reaction Mvt. 3: Movement Mvt. 4: Kinetic The first movement is pretty self explanatory (energetic). The second movement is divided into two parts. The "action" has a groove at a fairly slow tempo. The "reaction" is the percussion feature and is faster and stronger than the first section. The front ensemble also uses a lot of random junk like trash cans and hubcaps in this feature. The third movement is the ballad. As far as percussion is concerned, it is mostly front ensemble. The closer represents the concept of kinetic energy with a fast tempo and complex drill and parts.

Wow, you wrote those? That's cool! Did you use VDL? Yeah, I'm actually writing the full score for the Lightning's show too! Keep it up!

Thanks. I used VDL2 for the percussion parts. Unfortunately, I could only upload about 40 seconds out of each movement (except for the 2nd, which has two parts). I do have full recordings of each movement, though.
