Do I have to limit to one, cuz i got thousands...

One of the guard girls was in an independent WGI group and the band director organized a trip to Findly to see the competition...well, after the guard people performed, one of the freshman snares had his CD player and headphones on him...well, the judges were asking if the drumline was ready, while some of the helpers were pulling a bright, neon green extension cord around...complete and utter silence...then all of a sudden the freshie yells out, "THE CORD IS GREEN!!" super loud because of his music blaring in his ear, and he says it in a voice that makes him sound...challenged...everyone looks back and stares, and I buried my face in my hoodie, laughing...

Oh, yeah, there's that time when I was walking to the starting point of a parade and I tripped because my foot got caught in a hole and I flipped out of my carrier.

And the time I didn't drink more than 1 quart of water the whole week and thought I could do a parade and had to stop and take my drum off or I would have barfed all over the street fromm heat-stroke...

I got a couple. One year when I was in HS, we were trekking the parade tune around the lot with the band. Our bottom bass didn't catch the signal that there was an obstacle in our path. Well, he rammed right into a parking sign, drum first, and rebounded off of it landing on his rear. Couldn't help but laugh.

Secondly, the line I was helping had a fast "squeeze and ooze" drill move stuffing the line between two sections while those sections were stationary out behind them. And like we dreaded someone in the bass line fell "domino-ing" 4 others after her. Thankfully they got up real fast, and we actually got props for a quick recovery from the judge. So it turned a little less embarrassing. But you could hear the gasp from all the staff.

One time last year we had an indoor competition do to weather. I was on snare and we had a visual where we had a stick toss and i just totally missed my right stick. I didnt really pay attention to it and i just tried to play the rest of the show with one stick. It wasnt to bad but i could see people out of the corner of my eye making hand gestures and pointing. yea thats mine

Back when I was in high school we were marching with some old Yamaha drums. (Right before we got new ones, of course.) It was a windy day, and we were working on some tough drill. Well, one of the tenors, the bolt on his drums that hold the tilting mechanism onto the frame snapped. Next thing you know, his tenors rotate horizontally so all the weight is on one side, and due to the wind and him being a small guy - he FLIPS OVER his drums! Needless to say, he face planted onto the practice field. That year at the awards night, he won the award for "The Most Acrobatic Move Involving a Piece of Battery Equipment."

One thing I always laugh about is when our band came off the field and a camera man was in our faces. The fifth bass couldn't see him and BOOM. The fifth bass broke the camera, ran ove the guy and then came of the carrier. Camera men were always in our way....

I have two from this past season...

#1. Everyday after practice the drumline marches from the pad to the band hall. This particular day we all decided to run inside. While I was running I tripped over the curb and fell foward. This resulting in me scraping my hand and nearly breaking my nose. The drum was ok, but the concrete had a nice scratch on it.

#2. At the state marching finals our director decided that the drum major needed to pause before she started the second song. Of course no one told the drumline, and due to flags I could not see the drum major. As a result of this I started the song a beat earlier than the rest of the band and everyone proceeded to blame me for not watching.

my most embarrassing moment was when i was in 7th grade at drum camp all the percussionist went on field at the end to play a cadence.so while we were walking out there i tripped and fell.it was horrible. and after the show we had to put our drums back in the band room . so as i was walking back i stumbled and my drum flew off my harness and rolled down a hill about 50 meters

lol I have some really embarrising ones.

Freshman year I was in the pit...BOA reginals in the Georgia Dome in Atlanta (2004 I think)...anyways It was a big moment in our show, The winds came in a line for a big impact, there were 3 counts of rest then tons of noise...lol...I play 1 count early on my crash cymbol...so you hear nothing in the whole georgia dome...then crash..daaahhh dah dah daaaahhhh daaaaahhh...something like that...it was really embaricing...I took crap about it for almost a year.

Another time we were playing at Day of Percussion at UCF, and I had a vibes part for a really neat piece called Stained Glass, well we were using UCF's Vibes and ours have padding on the pedals, but these didn't so on stage you would hear...click...click...yea it was pretty embarrising

But the most embarrising moment of all...it was my first year marching..I was marching top bass and we were hosting our frist competition. We were on our practice field (concrete field). All of the other schools were still in their busses around it (the field is in the middle of the bus loop). We were marching back field playing a groove, and we changed direction...I fell and rolled over and my bass went flying...All of the other schools saw it the day we were hosting our competition...it really sucked.

This drum camp, we were treking around the parking lot playing warmups. I didn't get the message that there was a sewage drain coming up, my foot gets caught and I land drum-first on the concrete.

I don't really have anything good but the best one i can remember was last year. We were at a competition that started at night, and of course it rained all day. Well the rain stopped just in time. Needless to say the field was a muddy mess. And at this one particular drill move i had to change directions on a dime and my shoes shot out from under me. I came between a hair of falling down but i caught my footing at the last second. But of course by then i was out of step and confused and mad. But seeing the colorguard all covered in mud from having to dance on the field made me feel much better.
