You'd be surprised how hard it is to see in front of you with a bass drum on.

my most embarrassing moment was right after a pep rally. i had the bright idea of rolling the xylo with the glock on top of it through the grass. the glock wasn't covered and i hit a ditch, glock falls, keys go flying. being a freshman the seniors all got a kick out of "the idiot kid who tried to take the easy way out"

well a while back i wrote the one about falling over the 10 stairs, that wasn't too much embarrasing but now this year at band camp i had some embarrasing stuff, first i got pansted (someone pulled down my pant) for some odd reason, except the boxers went with them, thank goodness i had a long shirt on, then the next day our field was soaked an full of mud, i slipped an fell leaving a huge mud spot on the back of me, wow band is crazy but thats why i love it

Well, I haven't had any yet... but the closest thing to an embarrassing moment was having your instructor sit you out because you looked sick during a band camp rehearsal while everyone else marches. But then again, I am one of the smallest people in the band, playing one of the heaviest instruments.

I was caught laying down with my hands over my eyes to shade the sun during a 10 minute break after a 45 minute drill rehearsal. Drum instructor comes up and says, "Follow me" right in front of everyone. *Winces*

Once at a rehearsal, last year, I put my bass on upside down. Everybody laughed and I was mortified.

The most embarassing times for me were when I would play set at the football games for the pep band. I completely ruined Zoot Suit Riot, tryed playing a buzz roll during the national anthem which I failed at, (terrible song to ruin) played the fight song twice as fast(it was actually really funny and not so much embarassing), played Up Tight wrong.

And as far as marching goes, it was really rainy so the whole drumline was focused more on not falling over that we all missed a turn and kept going in the wrong direction but recovered when we ran to our spots.

freshman year...we were about to go march a parade for national night out. i had my water on my drum cause we were going to load the truck and my water fell so i made a little squat move to pick it up...i was unbalanced cause i was on a slight ramp on the sidewalk for wheelchairs and i fell smack on my butt for everybody to see apparently when i fell my snare hit the ground pretty hard at a funny angle and fell off..i got in loads of trouble and my BD kicked the broken drum half way across the band hall

Well, I've fallen 4 times now. I'm the only person in the band to have fallen more than once. I have random people coming up to me saying, "Your the kid who always falls!". And I just have to nod my head in an affirmative manner.

Pretty embarrassing considering I have 3 more years in band... think of how many times people are gonna bring up this year.

First major drumline performance at the town common (drumline only) and all the quints got a 3 beat solo, i had a 2 fivelets planned out with some crossovers. Got to my solo the heart started racing and then i flubbed up the solo, i got tangled up and what should have been 1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1 ended up being dig-a-doo-cah in some weird 5/3 partials or something...it was bad...
