All the drums are the old white ones, but we had someone put the vents in the snares and re-wrap the whole line. I like them and they look and sound amazing. The holes make them project more and the lower notes are heard more. Only negative I have found are the holes let the air escape so when playing the head doesn't move around and there isn't the same rebound because the air that normally moves around in the drum and pushes the head up now just leaves the drum. The cymbal line this year is the best it has ever been because of that black guy. He marched Memphis in 04 and 06, then in 08 he decided to do guard for Madison Scouts. Great group of guys and girls! Fun to be with and great musicians.
