I wonder if the deeper shell quads would have the more drastic fade like the snare does.

Thanks guys! its been a long process getting them, Pearl has made mistake after mistake. they sent the snares with standard hardware instead of the chrome.. when the chrome came in it was in pieces I had to build each chassis for all snare drums..

the bass drum fades are not what i expected, instead of a burst (which is how I always saw pearl do it) its a true fade one side of the bass drum is red the other is black.. i have no idea why..

Ill post a few more this week. but thanks for the comments

Oh yeah, I was told that the articulite tenors won't have as pronounced fade as the deep shell tenors, I still went with them anyways to save some weight and keep the big block sizes.

How did you get Pearl to chrome them for you? I called them about it and they said they don't do that, but only when the drum is being built. Looks good btw, I'm going to try and find a shop here in town that does chrome plating.

we payed for them chromed. Pearl just messed up and didn't use the chrome hardware. so they sent replacement hardware for me to put together which ill hold my tongue about.
