The bass heads for Carolina Crown heading into the week of championships. Reminds me of when the Blue Devils did something similar last year...

Sweet!!!! I saw their show in Houston and San Antonio, it is very good. They didn't have these heads on there yet:( .Their drumline is just ramming notes the whole show! I really hope they jump a few places in drums and take it at finals! Go Crown!

Are those custom heads, or can you actually get those green heads?

I'm sure they are custom. This page on Remo's website shows their selection of "stock" graphics heads that are widely available, and the design in the picture isn't listed there. Though I guess that, like other special products given to high-profile endorsers, custom designs are available to anyone who's got enough money.

They're super custom, guys in the line were grumbling about them being shipped from England.

Can't beat that wood grain though, looks like a laquered head. wink

I am dissapointed that I did not get to see them in Murfreesboro. I wish it would be like last year where it was one day.

according to the bass tech Eric, they had the green on the Power Maxs and it wasn't the sound they were looking for. So they went back to the smooth white emps.. last week Remo surprised them with four sets of the green heads in the Emperor form. Shipped from London. They don't project as well as the whites but those guys were making up for it no problem.. great line this year I hope they bust in to the top 3.
