Never during a performance. But, this one time in band camp, lol, but seriously, it fell off during a run through back in band camp and I couldn't make a stick change. It sucked lol.

silver wraps would make those drums shine against your red tops, imo.

I like that mix. I've never seen a band/corp that uses the military style jacket and shako's. I usually see the beret like Pioneer uses.

Or actually, I saw the firemans helmet once with a military jacket like that.

Those aren't really shakos either (I think). If I'm not mistaken, shakos are just as tall in the back as they are the front. The ones pictures look shorter in the back, like the top of the hat slants down. Like what Pioneer and the Hurricanes wear. I can't remember what they're called when they're styled like that... police hats?

Yeah, they're sort of a shako/police hat combination type of thing lol. Oh, and Beeds, I agree with you, and we're getting new drums this year and they might be silver! I can't wait! Maybe I'll finally get a new stickbag lol.

There not true berets, and they probably have a true name. But around here they are referred to as "military beret". Not the cloth beret, Im sure theres another name though.

Yea, I know what you mean by the beret, thats obviously not it. I don't know exactly what its called though. The "commandments own" wears them too though.
