Yeah, but look at their zones and how they're playing because of it. No thanks.

I was gonna say, nice idea, but it's not worth it if they play in the wrong zone.

Still a nice idea though.

I think perhaps judging by his name and the fact that his other posts have been linked to the DrumFunny website, this is perhaps a picture poking fun at the schools that are using garbage cans as bass drum stands... certainly not condoning the use of them.

Sarcasm. It's called sarcasm.

One of the touted features of the new stands is catching all of the player's dropped notes... smile

Jaco is right - it's totally meant as a joke (hence the drumfunny name). Although I still stand by my claim that they'd work better than most of the stands out there wink

They suck for height wise, but they probably would actually work better then most stands. I know the yamaha ones we have with the 4 points are a pain. Maybe that or our bassline is full of idiots who like to bend the points and put their bass on and it looks like if you breath is going to fall off.

there's a railing near our band room for like mallet instrument access and its high enough that our bases can put their drums on their harnesses on that railing and play in the right zones.
