Ok, cool. Thanks for the replies. It didn't help that the under side of the head is woven and not plastic. Might of worked with plastic. You should of seen the mess I had cleaning that stuff off. I'll use that wax from now on.

This may sound dumb but make sure the throw-off is in the off position when you try to connect them. They will not reach if the throw-off is in the on position.

Thanks for sharing. Definitely an interesting video. I have had the pleasure of taking a few snare lessons with Thom. I can say that I always came out of those lessons tired and brain dead. The man definitely knows his stuff.
