Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great cart, decent sound
Cons: About those bars...

I've got to divide this review into two distinct parts -- the "Power Cart" frame and the instrument itself.

Other than providing better assembly instructions, Dynasty couldn't have done a much better job on the cart. It's very solid, rolls easily, and has mount points for just about any accessory under the sun. I think the only thing I might want to add is a hitch like those found on 2Cool Percussion's carts so that you can string multiple carts together.

Now about the xylophone itself... It doesn't sound bad, but I've got some concerns about the bars. First, there's a lot of fiberglass overcast along the edges of the bars. Thankfully, it doesn't seem to splinter off easily (yet?), but if/when it does, someone's probably going to have some nasty splinters in their fingers. And I can't imagine it'll be good for tuning. The bars weren't packed particularly well for shipping, either. They had slipped out of the frame and there are a number of small scratches on the bars as a result.

Overall, I'm happy with the part that Dynasty made -- the frame. The bars are made by Bergerault and I'd suggest that Dynasty either work to improve their quality control or find another company to partner with.
