Positive aspects of the product (pros):
|
Fully retractable, Neat color(s), Easily Fixable Strands Fair price
|
|
Cons:

No Significant Cons

These brushes can provide a unique timbre on quints and snares. They are rock brushes, so they are quite dense and thick and produce a good amount of volume. In marching, the density allows for easier diddles and the attack is alot more crisp as opposed to wire brushes (product was compared against standard Promark Jazz Brush)
The product does have some slight downsides to it. The brushes do not have your standard pulling rod as most other retractable brushes have. Instead, you must pull out the stick with your hand. To some, this may be bad, but I never liked the retracting rods on brushes anyways.
Other insignificant faults: The Logo "Flix" sticker comes off easily and the cap at the bottom of the stick (see picture), can come off (with a little force).
Overall, my rating: 2 Sticks Up.
