Description:
|
The FS-SG Field Series snare drum stick is designed to the specifications of Shane Gwaltney, visual designer and battery arranger for Music City Mystique, percussion coordinator and battery arranger for Spirit Drum and Bugle Corps, and percussion coordinator for Choctawhatchee High School. Like all of our marching snare drum sticks, the FS-SG is constructed of heartwood hickory. It features a medium taper that flows smoothly into the barrel-shaped bead without a defined collar. The large diameter makes the stick suitable for outdoor use while the bead provides a clear articulation, making the stick also appropriate for indoor playing.

These sticks are the best feeling sticks I have EVER used. I bought them off of Lonestar Percussion for Georgia State University's drumline. Coming from someone who swore by Vic Firth and vowed to never play Innovative Percussion, I can honestly say that I will probably never look at a pair of Vic Firth sticks the same way again. I absolutely LOVE these sticks!
