Love this stick, I marched in a line and we actually used them on drums for our show as sort of a "puffy mallet" fun to play with the closest to actual stick on drum feel than any other practice stick I have used.

These sticks are good for practice on the go.....You won't have to lug around a practice pad and if you want, you won't even have to buy a practice pad if you buy these. THey have a good feel that is similar to the original scojos, except that the taper on these seems to be a bit longer.
These sticks are also nice on a real drum since they produce a less articulate yet dark sound......the only con with these is that they are not chop builders(they have too much rebound)....all in all they get an *8* from me.

I love my ScoJo's. They're great sticks, and they're a lot of fun to practice with. If you don't feel like carrying around a practice pad to drum, it's great to have these sticks, they're typically quiet on any surface, and you pretty much ALWAYS get rebound out of them, which makes it simple to practice. However, when you do have a pad handy, it's not a great idea to be in the habit of practicing with the ScoJo's, you'll pick up habits of relying on the intense rebound, and that can lead to lazy chops. These sound great indoors on snares when you want to avoid some of the resonance, and they sound great on tenors, too! I would suggest these sticks to anyone.
