Positive aspects of the product (pros): Great tone, keeps tune well.
Cons: Harder to tune.

This is by far the best snare head I've ever played on, I love the tone you achieve with this batter head and an Evans MX5 snare side. This is a very smooth playing head that sounds great at different tension levels. It has a sound that sounds somewhat like a Black/White Max from Remo. It sounds a little like those, I think it's got a crisper, cleaner tone though. It has a nice, soft feel to it. I recommend 110%

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Excellent Head, great sound quality, loud
Cons: none

This head is has a soft feel at any tension level and projects sound unheard of in marching percussion. It has a open crisp sound and is great on the hands. I would recommend this head to anyone who is serious sound. Throw you maxes away and get the Evans!!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Looks Good, Sounds good, softer feel.
Cons: None

The Evans Mx white is by-far the best drumhead I have ever played on. I have had experience with many remo drumheads, from the cheap plastic heads to the cybermax, and the evans mx white tops them all. This head has a very smooth look to it, not as gritty as the falam, just pure white..very attractive. This is also the LOUDEST drumhead I have ever played on, the projection is amazing. I seriously recommend this head.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Good Sound, TOUGH AS NAILS, good projection.
Cons: None that i can see.

I've been using Remo Whitemaxes for a while now, and i've been having some troubles with them popping so I decided i'll try a diffrent head for change, and since going to the MX White, wow is all i can say. I had my head REEFED and it was able to handle it, I was never able to get a whitemax that tight before. It's started to give but I loosend it a little bit and it's still holding up good. This is just my expierience with over tightening:-) But What my point is is that I had it way to tight but it still lasted and i'm still using it today and it pulled 3 weeks ago. An extreamly good head.I'm getting another for Christmas:-) I don't think i'll ever go back to Max's. These heads have just impressed me from day 1. I totally recommend these heads to anybody. Hold way better than Remo Maxs.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Extreme durability, Great feel, Awesome sound
Cons: Pricey, Logo smudges off easily

We recently switched from MX Gold Standards to the MX Whites. We found that we were going through the Gold heads way too quickly and the Gold heads were not maintaining their sound as well as we hoped. We switched to the White heads and our problems disappeared as soon has we tuned them up. The sound on these is superb, quite possible the best sounding snare head on the market. It is much more crisp and articulate than the golds (Although I do prefer the amount of warmth the golds provide for solo work, the whites are much better suited for a line). The feel is excellent, with a very soft feel and plenty of give. The rebound is great and it is very easy on the hands. It has stood up to a lot of playing and cranking, and shows no signs of giving anytime soon.

Two minor problems include the logo smudging off very easily, and it is rather expensive.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Volume, Feel, Crisp sound. Durability
Cons: can be too wet/glassy, overtones

One of the best kept "secrets" in the marching world. This is my personal favorite head for lines, especially large high school bands. Very crisp sound, with a TON of volume. These things will kill your ears if you're used to Black Maxes. A lot better on your hands too. They have a little too much of a wet attack for my liking; I like the sound of Maxes a bit better, but the quality and volume of this head outweighs the Max heads. An all around great drumhead!

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Look Fantastic, Durable, over all good sound
Cons: none really a bit thin sounding for me but very crisp (of course i was using them on yamahas so maybe on a pearl or dynasty it would open up a bit )

Over all a good head....

similar to the white max (i like the max better myself ) but you get the idea.

never could pull these so i consider it very durable. (and i dont baby heads )
