Description: Jeff's new signature stick has full round tip for consistent sound quality regardless of the angle of approach. The long taper and reduced neck size produce excellent speed. A slight taper toward the rounded butt end improves “back-sticking” control and sound quality.
L = 17”, Dia. =.725” at butt, .675” at shaft.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Lightweight, durable.
Cons: Not good for a whole line.

When I first got these sticks I loved them. They are a great stick for soloing and that is what they are made for. They are long-lasting, have a great round tip for a nice even sound, and they are very light. I highly recommend them for solo work but I don't think that they would make a good whole line set-up. Other than that this is a great stick for anyone who likes doing solo stuff.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Light, Balanced, Round Bead, Durable
Cons: None

As it's name implies, this stick is designed for soloing. It is fast, well-balanced and the round bead gives consistent quality of sound no matter what angle you are coming from. The tapered shaft helps to put lightning into your short speed bursts. An all-around great feeling, well balanced implement. Although not intended as a standard line stick, all the things that make it a great solo stick would also make it a great snare or tenor stick.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Light, fast, comfortable, non-painted finish, well-designed for solo work.
Cons: Long, pitch pairing problems, no practical use besides soloing

These sticks were designed for solos, and does the job well. It is a really fast and comfortable stick, and has a great grip. The butt of the stick is full and round, which is supposed to give a better back-stick sound, but I have not noticed a huge difference.

One thing about this stick is that it is 17" long, which is longer than I would like, especially when it comes to really fast back-stick to normal changes. Also, Most of the pairs in the store were not exactly pitch paired, even though I sure some hooligan decided to switch the sticks around just to make me mad.

This stick is not good for a line, and doesn't really have any purpose besides soloing, and even then, some people may like the length and thickness of Indoor sticks offered, so this stick doesn't seem to have a real important niche.

Overall this is a fast and good solo stick, and I recommend it for people looking for a fast solo stick.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): good for solos
Cons: not durable in a drumline setting

These sticks are nice, they hold up well and are a good weight but there not as good for the full snareline

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Feels great in hands, light, durable
Cons: pitch-paring

I bought these sticks about a week ago along with the Jeff Queen book and dvd (also a great item) and the second I picked up these sticks at Sam Ash I fell in love. They just have such a natural and great feeling and even the back sticking you can kind of hear a difference which is great.
This is a great stick for soloing or just playing by yourself.
I highly recommend it

Positive aspects of the product (pros): light, nice weight
Cons: afraid to break them

I really like these sticks. Really good weight distribution and they feel really nice. It seems like they dont get as much sound from the drum and 'regular' sticks do.

My only concern is their durability playing a drum day to day. I'm afraid to try and break them.

I'm curious to see if it didnt say "Jeff Queen Solo Stick" if people would use them in their lines instead of only using them to solo with. Maybe something to VF to think about. Get more people to buy them for their lines
