Positive aspects of the product (pros): The color is nice?
Cons: Poor head response

This is one of the not-so-good sticks out there if you ask me. The response from the head is poor and, due to the very long taper, it does not acquire a decent rebound. The bead is oddly shaped in an effort to create a "consistant sound quality" regardless of the angle of the stick to the drum head. It may be consistant, however I find the sound quality to be very poor (which is odd because it is not a light stick). Anyway, I would recomend playing with something else.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Everything; Weight, balance, bead.
Cons:

Contrary to the first review, this is the best stick I've ever played with. This stick brings out the beast in your snare drum. Full sound, with great snare articulation. Probably the best weight balance out of any stick I've played. It isn't quite as bouncy, but is very controllable. A bit thicker than most sticks, but after a couple days of playing you'll get used to the beefy stick. This isn't no pussy indoor drumline stick, this is a man's stick. Perfect combination of feel, volume, sound, and speed. Jim Cassella designed a great stick, can't see why he'd ditch it.

Positive aspects of the product (pros):
Cons:

It's a thick, bulky stick, and plays like one in all the wrong ways. I find its extra-thick shaft to be cumbersome and its rebound to be lacking. It also doesn't pack the same audible punch that other big sticks like the FS-1 and ScoJo do.

Positive aspects of the product (pros): beefy, sound, rebound
Cons: sound, paint

These sticks are fairly heavy which I like, makes me feel like I have more control over the stick. These sticks also have tons of rebound, but that may not be true, just because I used dead sticks for about a week before trying these.

Now, you're probably wondering why I put sound down in both pros and con. It's because I love the type of sound this gets it really sounds good, but it just isn't as loud as I'd hoped the beefy stick would be.

And once again Vic screws us over with paint again. . .IT'S NOT FUNNY ANYMORE VIC.
