Positive aspects of the product (pros): Even weighted, Hickory, Comfortable in hands
Cons: Short Taper, Completely round Bead

These sticks suprised me. I normally wouldnt have bought them, but they were cheap (only $5.75!) and I had money to spend anyways. They feel really nice in your hands. I hand picked mine out, so they are weighted equally which is a plus. It didnt take long to weight them like Hardimons did last time I purchased a pair.
I havent played these on a marching drum, but I'd suspect they'd be durable just by the feel.
My only complaint is that the short taper and fully round bead makes the stick feel just like a shaft of wood. The rebound is very stiff in the stick because of that. If the bead were different, I'd probably think better of the stick. Because of this short taper feel, it feels like it'd work as a pretty decent tenor stick.

Decent stick, still needs a bit of work though. If Zildjian were to get this right, they'd have a really good product, until then though, they'll have a sub-par rating. (I'd actually give them a 6.5, but I rounded up)

Positive aspects of the product (pros): Really Affordable, Well Matched, Front Heavy
Cons: Short stick, short taper, break easy,

I used these sticks for a year and a half on my highschool line. they weren't HORRIBLE... but they're no Hannums.

For beginners I would recommend this stick. Its a full round tip so you get a consistent sound for your entry level snareline. they also are very short sticks; so your kids will learn not to choke up so much on the stick.

However these sticks do break easily and just wear out incredibly fast. You will buy these sticks matched but within 4 days of rehearsal they will be unmatched from wear and tear.

i gave this stick a 6.
